Job Description
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably within baggage handling, material handling, cargo logistics, airports or related industrial automation sectors.
- Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks witsh competing priorities and work well under pressure with a sense of both urgency and thoroughness
- Team-oriented and collaborative.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the US as required.
- Possession of vehicle with valid driving license is a plus. • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the airport and logistics sectors.
- Partner closely with the Head of Sales and cross-functional teams during all phases of the sales cycle, from pre-bid and proposal through project closure.
- Manage and prepare sales proposals, RFP/RFQ documentation, and related bid activities in accordance with US market practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for US customers, providing timely and knowledgeable support throughout the sales and bidding process.
- Participate in customer meetings presenting technical and commercial solutions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and technical experts to develop optimal system concepts and solutions.
- Manage sales engineering deliverables and ensure smooth handover to the project execution team.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, aligning with company values and business goals.
- Gather and share market intelligence, competitor analysis, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Other market sales related work.
