Pay Range: $60,000-$120,000 base salary annually + commission (based on experience)

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Engineer to lead our sales strategy and grow our client base.
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients. This position requires a strong background in manufacturing sales, preferably in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—comfortable setting meetings, visiting customer sites, and discussing technical capabilities. A mechanically inclined mindset and familiarity with CNC machining is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed company revenue goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective customers.
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings, plant tours, and technical presentations.
- Work closely with internal departments (engineering, production, quality) to align proposals with capabilities.
- Respond to RFQs and prepare customized proposals and pricing models.
- Track leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to represent Halcyon Manufacturing.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to leadership.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally for in-person meetings and site visits.
- Strong technical understanding or mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and quality standards is a plus.
