Summary:
We are actively seeking a Cardiology Clinic RN for a 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity based in Seattle, WA. This outpatient role requires a local candidate with cardiology experience who can perform full-scope clinical and administrative nursing duties in a fast-paced clinic setting. Candidates must hold a current Washington State RN license.
Provide direct patient care in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting
Perform medication reconciliation, lab result interpretation, and vitals assessment
Support cardiology providers during exams and procedures, including dressing changes and aseptic tray setup
Collect and label specimens (urine, throat, capillary, venipuncture)
Handle telephone triage and process patient refill requests
Conduct follow-up calls and patient coordination
Collaborate with care teams and float to similar clinic units as needed
Must have experience in a Cardiology or Internal Medicine outpatient setting
Must hold an active Washington State RN License
Local candidates only must reside within commuting distance
Must be open to temp-to-perm hire if the contract is successful
Able to float between similar outpatient units as needed
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Experience:
2 years of outpatient clinic RN experience preferred
1 year minimum required
First-time travelers accepted
License:
Active WA RN License (Required at time of submission)

BLS (Required)
Assessment & Patient Care:
Medication reconciliation
Vital signs: BP, temperature, pulse, respirations
Interpretation of lab results
Patient history and health questionnaires
Procedures & Support:
Aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup
Dressing changes
Venipuncture/phlebotomy
Specimen collection: urine (UA/clean catch), capillary, throat
Administrative/Clinic Duties:
Telephone triage
Pharmacy communications and refill processing
Documentation using any standard EMR system
Follow-up calls and care coordination
