Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Registered Dietitian to serve as a Surveyor/Complaint Investigator for long-term care facilities throughout New York City. In this impactful role, you'll conduct onsite assessments, investigate complaints, and help ensure nursing homes meet critical standards for resident care.
What We Offer:
Hourly Pay: $39/hr
Mileage Reimbursement: Get compensated for travel to site visits

What You'll Need:
Licensure: Active NYS Registered Dietitian license
Education: Graduate of an accredited dietetics program; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a medical facility (nursing home experience preferred)
Experience in nursing home surveillance is a plus
Certification: SMQT preferred or must be obtained within 12 months of hire
Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct surveys and investigate complaints (including abuse/neglect) at nursing home facilities
Draft detailed reports and Statements of Deficiencies (SOD) using established documentation standards
Evaluate compliance with correction plans
Enter findings into federal and state databases
Participate in state monitoring during immediate jeopardy situations
Attend required meetings and provide testimony in administrative hearings
Follow DOH schedules and policies; travel to assigned facilities
