About the job
We are seeking an experienced OpenText Documentum Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise content management systems. This role involves end-to-end responsibilities, including design, development, troubleshooting, cloud integration, and collaboration in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Documentum-based applications and components
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Documentum platforms and integrations
Support platform upgrades, migrations, and architecture improvements
Develop and maintain REST APIs using Spring Framework
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Required Qualifications:
Documentum Expertise:
7+ years of experience with Documentum components: Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, DFC Client
Strong knowledge of Documentum architecture, object model, and security model
Experience in platform upgrades and content/data migrations
API & Application Development:
2+ years developing REST APIs using Spring Framework
Experience integrating APIs within ECM or similar platforms
Programming & Tools:
5+ years of experience in Java and Python development
Proficient in tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, and relational databases
Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture best practices
Cloud (AWS):
3+ years of experience working with AWS services including EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK
Ability to troubleshoot cloud deployments, analyze logs, and manage configurations and security
Software Development Practices:
Experience with unit testing, code coverage, CI/CD, secure deployments, vulnerability management, and monitoring
Agile Delivery:
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines independently
Preferred Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer
OpenText Documentum Certification
Oracle Certified Java Developer
