Mining Engineer – Cement Industry
Martinsburg, WV | $100K–$140K
Join a modern construction materials company as a Mining Engineer , supporting daily operations and long-term planning at a major quarry site. You’ll ensure safe, efficient production while driving mine optimization, compliance, and performance. Cement Manufacturing and Process is a Real Plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily mining operations and MSHA compliance
- Develop short- and long-term mine plans
- Manage mine production tracking, monthly mapping, and reporting
- Optimize resources (manpower, fuel, equipment, etc.)
- Supervise operators and contractors
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and material quality monitoring
- Conduct inspections and support site reliability/maintenance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Mining, Geology, or Engineering
- 3–6 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry (cement, steel, lime, etc.)
- Strong planning, supervision, and technical skills
- Experience with CMMS and mine mapping
