Legal Assistant
Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85012 (Hybrid)

Job Description:
-The position is part-time, varying between 30-40 hours a week. Mainly the position is working onsite, however it could become a combination of onsite and remote work. Utilizing a variety of computer-based systems, search for required legal documents Review and interpret language in legal documents to assure it meets statutory requirements
-Accurately update fields in database based on information found in legal documents
-Enter names and findings into the Client Central Registry following confirmation of due process
-Close attention to detail to assure the documents that have been found are for the right people and right incident
-Create, update and maintain large master spreadsheets using Excel
-Be able to track multiple tasks and outstanding items for follow up until resolution is reached
-Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve problems.
-Other administrative duties as assigned.
Skills Required
-Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task from previous work history.
-Excellent written & verbal communications skills. Excellent MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, typing and data entry skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Required
-2+ years working in the legal field Paralegal certificate or degree preferred

-High School Graduate
