If you didn't know we've created 500+ hours of Grandmaster-crafted courses, covering everything from beginner to master…

If you didn't know we're now building an AI Coach to connect with our courses and revolutionize online chess education — You guessed it — that's on me.

So why haven't you heard about all this?
I was fully focused on building the ChessMood! Marketing, PR, and all that? Not my strength and not my passion.

It's not that I never tried to find a Marketing Director.
I just never found someone who checked 80% of the boxes below. 

✅ Must-Haves (Don't Worry If You Miss One or Two) 

• Chess fan, with over 1,000 online games and a 1500+ online rating.
  
• 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
  
• Experience building and growing marketing teams with A-players.
  
• Background in growing subscription-based or edtech companies.
  
• Proven track record of managing and scaling large marketing budgets (ideally $1M+ annually) 
• Hands-on with AI tools — knows when to prompt, when to automate, and when to trust human instinct.
• Growth Mindset! Study-Practice-Fix! 

✅ Must-Feel 
“OMG, this is exactly what I would enjoy doing!
Give it to me, and watch how I'm showing the world what we've created!”

✅ Must-Dos 
I'm not going to give you a checklist.
I'm going to share what I've learned, my experiences, and what's worked (and hasn't).
Then I want to hear your plan.
I'm looking for someone I can trust with the steering wheel — not just to drive, but to lead the way.
✅ Three Words to Forget
1. Employee / Employer
Those words are forbidden at ChessMood.
We don't have employees. I'm not “the boss.” We're teammates — working side by side on a mission. 

2. Competitor / Competition
That mindset is for losers.
If someone does great work in the chess world, they're our friends and we'll help them.
If they do a bad job, they'll disappear anyway.
At most, we say “other players” in the chess world.

 
3. Compensation 
You're not going to have compensation for your work. Surprised?
Look — what does the word “compensation” even mean? Selling 8 hours a day for X money? C'mon!

I believe we should enjoy what we're doing, and feel great knowing how we're serving millions of chess lovers.
And on top of that, get a bonus that helps us enjoy our personal lives and achieve our goals.

Bonus. Not compensation.

And don't worry — it's not going to be a small one.
It'll be fair, generous, and joyful — just like the work you'll be doing here.
