The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of RSC Landscaping and the Garden Center by removing trash, debris, and other waste items.
- Operate maintenance equipment such as shovels, rakes, and backpack sprayers to complete tasks efficiently.
- Utilize power equipment for janitorial and general maintenance purposes.
- Ensure the upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots, including snow removal when necessary.
- Perform general repairs and routine maintenance on building systems as needed.
- Assist with the upkeep of facilities and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Successful completion of on-the-job training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, and pulling for prolonged periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
- Team player with a dependable attendance record.
- Valid driver's license required.
