Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and interpret large datasets from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, spreadsheets).
- Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and business opportunities.
- Conduct statistical analysis (e.g., regression, trend analysis) to support strategic decision-making.
- Create compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Communicate findings through clear data visualizations and storytelling techniques.
- Maintain regular reporting on business KPIs and performance metrics.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Translate data analysis into recommendations to improve processes, performance, and strategy.
- Present analytical findings in a simplified format to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a data analyst role or similar capacity.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one data visualization platform (Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience in developing paginated reports from SSRS files.
- Experience with relational databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in finance, e-commerce, healthcare, or technology.
- Professional certifications such as Tableau/Power BI, or Certified Data Analyst.
- Experience with data modeling or data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel techniques (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.).
